A website takeover for the big event
The Sundance Institute needed a redesign of their website for the 2016 Film Festival. They wanted to showcase festival activity by streaming in dynamic content of celebrities, filmmakers, and live events as they happened. Together with the development team, we delivered a system that streamed in content from media tents, twitter, social media properties, and blog posts. The design needed to blend seamlessly with the rest of the Sundance Institute site and bridge the difference between two different sets of branding guidelines, one designed by Pentagram for the parent organization, and one designed by Mother Agency for the event. I added a light photo overlay to bring in the festival colors and unify the photos taken under different lighting conditions over the course of the event.
